The business

A ten-bedroom beachfront estate on the frontline of Puerto Banús, built in 1959 by the flamenco dancer Antonio Ruiz Soler, with four thousand square metres of grounds, direct beach access, and a pool with a Picasso drawing tiled into its floor. It takes whole-house stays for up to twenty guests, weddings and events, and film and photography hire.

What they had before

An Instagram account that had posted twenty times in a month, then nothing for four months. Captions of twelve to thirty words, the same fifteen hashtags on every one, and a website that got the house's own story wrong in two places.

What we built

  • {{CONFIRM_VEM_SITE}}The website, villaelmartinete.com, with the house's history told correctly.
  • A voice and five pillars written from the account's own history: heritage leads, because the two posts about 1959 and the Picasso had done four to six times the account's median.
  • A weekly programme of seven drafts across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, produced from the house's own eighty-eight photographs and two films, in the client's scheduler for approval every Monday.

What changed

The account posts three times a week again, in its own voice, without anyone at the house writing a caption. The numbers that follow are the account's and the villa's, not ours.
